Our government officials openly defy laws.
Our elected representatives are inept and corrupt.
Cronyism and greed are rampant, everywhere.
My name is Reece Roberts
I’m a simple, regular guy
I work an hourly job. I rent an apartment in Anchorage.
I don’t have any business connections. I don’t have any significant wealth.
I work to live, so I can enjoy the great Alaskan outdoors when I can.
I’m the less awful guy
I don’t really have the ego or the vanity for political office; believe me, I’d rather spend my summer outdoors, but… I cannot tolerate the greed, corruption, and ineptitude anymore.
I’m running for US Senate, as a less awful candidate, because I’m tired of just complaining.
The platform is simple:
HONESTY and HUMANITY
HONESTY
End Congressional Corruption:
- Term Limits for Congress and Supreme Court Justices
- Ban insider trading for all public officials
- Get corporate money out of our elections
- Act with accountability and transparency
- Enforce a strong ethics code; punish corruption
HUMANITY
Value Life, Not Profits:
- Universal health care – for all Americans
- Wealth taxes on billionaires (and now trillionaires)
- Spend our taxes on our communities, not corporations
- Defend Bodily Autonomy
- Human Rights – For ALL Humans
