Non-Partisan for Alaska

The best way you can support me is by telling others!

Tell your friends! Tell your family! Get a conversation started.
For all the money that gets spent on advertising, it’s not nearly as effective as the opinion of someone you trust and respect.
If your feel like I might your brand of less awful, there’s a good chance your peers will think so too.

Alaska’s Ranked Choice voting system is still confusing for some people, and we also need to get the word out about why it is a good system.
You can remind others that, they can vote for their “long-shot” favorite candidate as a show of support, and if no one reaches 50% in the first round, then they can still vote for a more likely, primary political party candidate.

Also, please remind people to VOTE NO on BALLOT MEASURE 2. A “NO” vote saves Ranked Choice Voting.
The fact that there has been so much money spent trying to repeal this measure for a THIRD time, should tell you how much of a threat it is to the entrenched political parties.

I’m not asking for financial donations at this time.

I’ve never been good at asking for money. (I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad quality for a politician).
I think it’s pretty telling when most other campaign websites open with a pop-up ad, asking for more money.
And let’s be honest, between the lead Republican and Democrat candidates, those two alone have over $16 MILLION in campaign contributions already, with massive PACs and corporate backers.
It feels unethical to ask for money when their campaign chests are 10,000 x greater than mine.
If we can’t win the primaries with a grassroots campaign, we never had a chance with the November election.

You’re better off putting your money into a rainy-day fund, or paying down debt you have.
Times are pretty tough out there, for most Alaskans. Inflation is high, and wages aren’t keeping up.
The economy seems to be soaring skyward in a bubble of AI technology, and it’s going to correct itself one day, with disastrous consequences.
Keep your money for yourself and your family.

As the campaign progresses, I may later ask for donations, but it will be with a specific target and dollar amount (e.g., $10K for a broadcast ad).
But, we’re not there yet, and I’d rather everyone keep their money, for now.

How else can I support the campaign?

If you are interested in helping or supporting the campaign, I could use all sorts of expertise.
This campaign is entirely self-funded, so far. I cannot afford a media team, legal help, or an accountant.
Thankfully, most of the instructions for legal and financial reporting have been pretty straight forward… so far.

If you have experience in legal, financial, and/or marketing matters, I’m sure I could use the help.
If you have previous campaign experience, that would be welcome too.
And, if you happen to know how to code HTML or have a decent amount of web development experience, well… I’m sure you can tell my skill level by the amateur look of this site.

If you don’t have any specific skills, you’re still welcome to inquire.
I don’t have an office or anything (just doing this in my 1 bedroom apartment at the moment), but as things expand, we’ll look into moving.

Regardless, I’m humbled that you’ve even read this far. So thank you for even this amount of support.
